ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — An Edisto High School student has died following a car accident in Orangeburg County.
Jaida Gooden, 17, of Cordova, was pronounced dead after a car crash that occurred on November 19 on Riley Rd.
According to the Orangeburg County Coroner, Gooden died of multiple blunt force injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
