An 18-year-old driver was fatally injured and another teenager hurt when their car crashed into an SUV in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on Friday morning, police said.
The driver of that Jeep was also sent to the hospital from the crash on Route 3A/State Road, which Plymouth police said was reported about 8:25 a.m.

Both vehicles had heavy front-end damage, according to police. Officers found three people in the two vehicles, and the driver of a Honda Civic was unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead after being rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. Police publicly identified him only as being an 18-year-old from Plymouth.
His passenger, a 17-year-old from Plymouth, was also taken to BI Deaconess in Plymouth and was expected to survive his injuries, according to police. The Jeep’s driver, a 47-year-old from Plymouth, was taken to South Shore Hospital; her condition wasn’t shared.
State and local police were investigating the crash.
Plymouth police had closed State Road from Rocky Hill to Powerhouse roads during the investigation.
