Two teenage girls were rushed to hospital after being hit by a car close to a pedestrian crossing near Glasgow at the weekend.
Emergency services were alerted to the scene on Busby Road in Clarkston, on Sunday, October 26 at 1.35pm, following reports of a crash involving a car and two pedestrians.
Two girls were taken to Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow as a precaution.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving a car and two pedestrians on Busby Road, Clarkston, around 1.35pm on Sunday, 26 October, 2025.
“Emergency services attended and two female youths were taken to hospital as a precaution.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We received a call at 13:32 on Sunday 26 October to attend a road traffic collision on Busby Road, Clarkston.
"We dispatched two ambulances and a paramedic response unit (PRU) to the scene and transported two patients to the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.”
