A 16-year-old boy has been charged by police after an early morning crash near Geelong which resulted in the death of a 17-year-old boy.
The younger boy alleged to have been behind the wheel of a Mazda when it collided with a pole at Corio early Sunday will face charges including culpable driving and dangerous driving causing death.
The teenager who died in the collision was travelling as a passenger in the front seat of the car.
Emergency services received reports of a vehicle crashing into a pole on School Road about 2am.
The alleged driver is due face court later on Sunday.
