It's alleged the teenagers stole a car from this Runaway Bay home. (ABC Gold Coast: Mackenzie Colahan)
Three people, including two teenagers, have been charged after a 54-year-old woman was injured during an alleged car theft on the Gold Coast on Saturday.
Police allege the group arrived at a Runaway Bay home in a stolen car about 4pm on Saturday.
One of the group – a 16-year-old boy – is alleged to have stolen the car from the home. Police said the 54-year-old woman was trying to stop it from being taken, when she was struck and injured.
She was treated by paramedics before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital where she remained on Sunday afternoon receiving treatment.
Paramedics also assessed a woman in her 20s at the scene who did not need further treatment.

A relative of the woman, who spoke to the ABC on Sunday, said she had been unloading groceries from her car at the time of the incident, and had tried to close the gate to prevent the alleged theft.
The stolen vehicle was tracked by police to the M1 Pacific Motorway Yatala South Interchange, where the group was arrested shortly before 4:30pm on Saturday.
On Sunday, police charged the 16-year-old Southport boy, an 18-year-old Pimpama man and a 24-year-old Eagleby woman with a number of offences including grievous bodily harm and robbery.
The boy is due to face Southport Children's Court on Monday, while the man and woman will face Southport Magistrates Court.
Police said on Sunday afternoon investigations were ongoing.
Any witnesses or anyone with relevant vision is urged to contact police.
