Tesla released a Master Plan Part IV on Labor Day that outlines the company’s goals for the future.
It discussed its focus on robotics and autonomy and a vision of the technologies providing “sustainable abundance” to humans.
“The products and services born out of the acceleration toward sustainable abundance will advance humanity by solving real-world problems. To further accelerate our innovation, we build each product more efficiently and more sustainably than the last,” the plan said.
The plan didn’t offer much interesting detail, but there was one detail in the video that was very much of interest.

One shot shows a clay milling machine in a design studio shaping the front of an autonomous Cybercab, which is supposed to go into production this year, that is in front of a shelf with several small vehicle models on it. The most prominently displayed is what appears to be an SUV version of the Cybertruck.
The front looks exactly the same as the Cybertruck’s, but the roof is flatter than the steeply angled pickup’s and continues all the way to a tall tailgate. The window line for the vehicle has also been adjusted to match.

Tesla hasn’t confirmed any plans for a Cyber-SUV, but it would allow it to leverage the Cybertruck platform and potentially increase sales. Cybertruck sales have dropped dramatically since last year, but the company has started taking orders for it in South Korea and is planning to launch it in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar this year.
The Cybertruck is currently available in the U.s. in a 354-mile Long Range model for $69,990, a 325-mile All-Wheel Drive model for $79,990 and a high performance Cyberbeast trim with 320 miles of range that can accelerate to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds for $114,990.
Regardless of whether or not Tesla will make a Cyber-SUV, the company is usually very meticulous with its videos and its inclusion was unlikely a mistake. However, a document that was revealed in January suggested that the company does not have any new vehicles in development that use the Cybertruck’s stainless steel construction, which has limitations due to the properties of the metal.
