Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) software appears to be getting a significant visualization upgrade. According to images uncovered in the latest Tesla firmware, the company is preparing to add detailed renderings of several new vehicle types and objects to its FSD (and potentially Autopilot) driving interface.
As spotted by well-known Tesla software sleuth @greentheonly, the new visual assets include a variety of emergency and specialty vehicles such as an ambulance, fire truck, garbage truck, and school bus. Additional models include a European-style semi truck, golf cart, scooter, skateboarder, stroller, street sweeper, three-wheeler, trailer, train, tram, and even a person in a wheelchair.

Uncovered in software version 2025.38, these “dynamic objects” give us an early look at how Tesla may plan to represent different vehicles and street elements in the car’s on-screen visualization system. These updates suggest Tesla is expanding the visual fidelity and contextual awareness of its FSD interface, which could make the driving experience both more immersive and informative.
Software update 2025.38, which began rolling out last week, also introduced 3D buildings and cityscapes to the built-in navigation map. With FSD 14 already showing major improvements in driving smoothness and decision-making, it looks like Tesla is now working to make the visuals that accompany these capabilities more realistic and detailed as well.
While the new assets have been found in Tesla’s latest firmware, it’s unclear when the company plans to activate them for end users. Tesla often tests new visualization features internally for weeks — or even months — before rolling them out publicly as part of a broader software update.
