EV giant Tesla has hit headlines across the world once more after the announcement of its new vehicles for 2026, which include the Tesla Model 3.
The EV has eradicated an extremely common feature that most cars across the country have as a standard element.
The new standard Model 3 is set to be a more affordable version of the cruiser, but it seems that to become cheaper, features have been sacrificed.
In fact, it may even be one of the only new cars in the US to not offer it at all.

The new Tesla Model 3 has been unveiled, but amongst all the perks of the new model, there are some features that have been cut.
One – or rather two – shocking things that have been completely taken away from the Model 3 are the power-adjusting mirrors, and there have even been some reports that it could be one of the only new car in America without them.
The new version could be perfect for EV owners who fancy a taste of Tesla, without the extra bells and whistles.
The Model 3 has vegan leather seats with textile elements and just one row of heated seats, different from the slightly more premium versions.
It also has 321 miles of range, with Tesla itself calling it the ‘most affordable’.
There’s also a Model Y standard edition on the way, with the mirrors also reportedly receiving some changes.
So, it turns out that Tesla could be one of the only brands in the country to have manually adjusting mirrors on the new 2026 release.
The new Standard Rear-Wheel Drive starts at $36,990 and ranges all the way to the Performance All-Wheel Drive $54,990.
To see if the Tesla model really lives up to its great claims of performance, some owners have taken it upon themselves to test them.
From drag races to range estimates and power pricing, there are many ways that the EVs have been stretched further than a daily driver.
One man even showed what it’s like to skip the LA traffic in a Tesla Model 3 at 116mph in The Boring Company tunnel.
Another owner from California decided to drive a used Model 3 that he bought for $25,000 without using a home charger and shared how much he had to splash out.
