THE Beacon Museum, Whitehaven, and its car park are closed today (Tuesday, September 16.)
The closure is in place whilst the museum’s summer exhibition is removed.
Alternative parking can be found at Quay Street Car Park, and despite the closure, Howling Wolf Artisan Bakery and Café remains open.
Writing on social media, The Beacon Museum said: “Please note that The Beacon Museum and The Beacon Car Park will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, 16 September.
“Howling Wolf Artisan Bakery and Café remain open as usual.
“Alternative parking is available at Quay Street Car Park.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
Cumberland Council added: “Our car park at The Beacon Museum, Whitehaven will be closed today (Tuesday, September 16) while the summer exhibition is removed.
“The museum is also closed today, however, the café remains open.
“Alternative parking is available at Quay Street car park.”
