If the current state of the world has you still fearing for the End Times, here’s a new car to help you out.
Rezvani just unveiled a bonkers new Tank for 2026 with up to 1,000 horsepower and the ability to stop bullets. The automaker has made a name for itself in recent years with cars intended to prepare owners for apocalyptic scenarios, whether they be zombies, armed enemies, or even more ordinary things that can get in one’s way while going to fetch groceries. The company, based in Irvine, Calif., makes products that seemed particularly relevant during the pandemic, when people were feeling more apocalyptic, though, as the company has found, that often remains the case even in calmer times.
Enter the new Tank, which joins Rezvani‘s model line-up that also includes the Dark Knight, an armored take on the Lamborghini Urus; the Vengeance, an armored take on the Cadillac Escalade; and the Beast, which almost looks like a normal supercar and starts at $585,000.
The base Tank is powered by a hybrid four-cylinder engine making 270 horsepower. More power, like a 6.4-liter V-8 engine making 500 horsepower and a 6.2-liter, Dodge Demon V-8 making 1,000 horsepower, is also available. Also optional is the “bullet proof and security” package. That package is has “the latest in ballistics armor capable of stopping high caliber weapons and assault rifles,” Rezvani says. Important bits like the fuel tank, battery, and radiator are encased in kevlar.
Further options with the Tank include a long list of potential features, including run-flat tires, a thermal night-vision system, chunky bumpers for ramming, “explosive device detection,” smoke screen, and “underside explosive protection.” The smoke screen is what it sounds like: releasing smoke from the rear of the vehicle to “lose trackers.” Underneath all of it is the chassis from a Jeep Wrangler, which is still trying to figure out what it did to deserve this.
The 2026 Tank starts at $175,000, though the 1,000 hp engine and bulletproofing options will increase that price substantially, or $85,000 more in the case of the more powerful motor. Rezvani makes just 100 examples of each of its models to impart exclusivity, so, if you’re interested, contact the company and start the conversation.
