The Milwaukee Brewers announced Saturday that prospect Frank Cairone was hospitalized after being in a serious car accident near his New Jersey home.
“Frank is currently being cared for at a hospital in New Jersey with the support of his family,” the team statement said, per MLB.com.
The Brewers’ thoughts and prayers are with Frank and his family during his difficult time.”
While Carione’s condition has yet to be revealed, a family source told NJ.com he was flown to Atlantic City Medical Center following the crash.

The 18-year-old Carione was drafted out of Delsea Regional High School in Franklinville, New Jersey, in the second round (No. 68) in the 2025 Draft.
The 6-foot-2 left-handed pitcher’s stock rose after a brilliant senior season, striking out 94 batters in 44 innings.
Carione can reach 95mph with his fastball.
He was drafted at the age of 17 and chose to forgo his commitment to Coastal Carolina to begin his professional career.
