A motorist who experienced a medical emergency while driving in Kelowna was unable to control their vehicle, sending it crashing into other vehicles on Gordon Drive.
A quick-thinking driver of a truck was able to box the vehicle in and bring it to a stop at Springfield Road and Gordon Drive just after 3 p.m., Thursday.
Fire crews, RCMP and BC Ambulance attended the scene, where the motorist was placed into the care of paramedics.
It’s unclear how many vehicles were hit or what the extent of the damage was after the motorist experienced a medical emergency and failed to steer their vehicle.
One southbound lane of Gordon and one eastbound lane of Springfield were blocked while emergency crews were on scene.
