HURRICANE, Utah (KUTV) — Two people were hospitalized after a crash involving multiple cars on State Route 9 on Friday morning.
The Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue said the crash happened just after 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 12 near mile marker 23 – roughly 13 miles east of Hurricane.
Details on the crash were not immediately provided. However, photos from the crash suggest the two cars were involved in a head-on collision.
Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue said no extrication was required, but two passengers suffered "significant" injuries and were hospitalized.
A third person involved declined medical treatment and was not hospitalized.
