TWO cars have been involved in a crash at newly-installed traffic lights in Inverkip.
Three people were taken to hospital as a precaution following the incident on the A78 at around 1.40pm today.
The two red vehicles involved look to have sustained significant damage in the collision.

Several police vehicles and ambulance personnel attended following the report of the crash, and police officers remain on the scene.
The A78 towards Largs is currently closed at the Main Street junction near Sainsbury’s, with traffic diverted onto Main Street.
Police Scotland said ‘enquiries in to the cause of the crash are ongoing’.
