HIXSON, Tenn. — UPDATE:
A driver had to be cut from their car following a multi-vehicle crashin Hixson involving a Hamilton County school bus Wednesday morning.
The wreck happened around 6:25 a.m. in the 6500 block of Middle Valley Road near the city-county line.
Chattanooga Firefighters found a vehicle off the road in the woods with the driver trapped inside. They had to remove the crushed driver’s side of the vehicle to free the person, who was then taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, according to a Facebook post from the Chattanooga Fire Department.
A Hamilton County school bus was involved in the crash. Firefighters stabilized the bus and Hamilton County EMS checked out the students, who were not injured. All the children were later transferred to another bus brought to the scene.
Fire officials say several public safety agencies responded to the crash. Law enforcement is investigating the crash's cause.

We're working to learn more about a school bus that crashed on a foggy Wednesday morning in Hixson.
This happened on Middle Valley Road, which is now closed while first responders continue to look into what happened.
We've confirmed from Hamilton County EMS that no children were hurt, and those children went on to school in another bus. One adult was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.

This crash happened at 6512 Middle Valley Road at about 7 a.m.

Our livestream from the scene shows one bus off the side of one side of the road, and a red car off the other side of the road.
First responders on the scene say all kids were checked out, no students were hurt from the crash, and another bus took them on to school. They also tell us one adult went to the hospital in a private vehicle.
