Car park 1 will remain closed for the foreseeable future following the fire yesterday.
If you have an appointment or are a visitor, please use Trumpington or Babraham Road park and ride where possible.
On Monday, car parks 2 and 6 (opposite the bus station near the roundabout with the flagpole) will be prioritised for patients and visitors. If required, you can call the CUH courtesy bus to take you to the CUH main entrance. You can call the bus on 01223 388342.
Please note that there are no guaranteed parking spaces on site.
If your car is in car park 1, please wait to hear from us. We will update you as soon as we have more information.
We know how hard this situation is for those visiting loved ones and for staff trying to get to work. We are sorry for the disruption and thank you for your patience and support.
As car park 1 is our main car park, space across the site is extremely limited. We ask all staff and visitors to avoid driving onto the site if possible and to use alternative transport options, including the Trumpington or Babraham Road Park and Ride.
We know how hard this situation is for those visiting loved ones and for staff trying to get to work. We are sorry for the disruption and thank you for your patience and support.
Following an initial structural assessment of car park 1 after the fire yesterday, we understand there is some damage to the car park which is currently being assessed. This means that the car park will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
We are currently unable to get cars in and out of car park 1 but we are working hard to make arrangements to do so. We will share updates as soon as we have more information.
If your car is in car park 1 and you need to get back onto site for work, please make alternative arrangements or we will support you to do this.
There is no impact on patient care and our services, including the Emergency Department, are open as usual.
If you need to come onto the CUH site, please allow extra time for your journey and use alternative transport options such as the Trumpington or Babraham Road Park and Ride where possible.
We are working closely with partners and will continue to provide updates as we have them.
We understand what a difficult situation this is for those visiting loved ones in hospital and getting to work. We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your ongoing support and understanding.
Following the fire in car park one yesterday, car park one remains closed and is being structurally assessed today.
Staff and patient safety remains our priority and until we know more, we cannot allow anyone in or out of the car park.
We will share information about when and how people can retrieve their cars as soon as we have it.

If you are coming onto the site this evening for work, staff have open car park access so please find an alternative car park if you usually park in car park one.

If you are a patient or member of staff and your car is parked in car park one tonight and into tomorrow, we will support you to get home.
If your car is in car park one and you need to get back on site tomorrow for work or clinical care, either please make alternative arrangements or we will support you to do this.
