A van burst into flames at a supermarket car park this afternoon.
Firefighters are tackling the fire in the Morrisons car park off South Street in Bridport.
It started shortly before 3pm this afternoon.
Images show the scorched remains of a vehicle with a cordon in place to allow firefighters to continue their investigation as they remain on the scene.
Shoppers were briefly prevented from entering the car park and shortly after, were directed to the opposite side of the car park well away from the fire.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for more information.
