PROVO, Utah (KUTV) — Three people were hospitalized, including one who was extricated from a vehicle, after a multi-vehicle crash near the Provo River Bottoms area.
Provo Fire and Rescue responded to the scene of the crash around 6:45 a.m. Saturday, finding a victim trapped inside a vehicle, according to officials with the Provo firefighters' labor union.
Crews cut off the side of the car and extricated the victim. The extrication was safely completed in about 10 minutes, which they said is "a very fast vehicle extrication time."
Three people were transported to the hospital due to the incident.
Officials did not provide information on the conditions of the victims or the cause of the crash.
