Packing a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 with 1,064 hp, the ZR1 offers hypercar levels of performance
The 1,064 hp (1,079 PS) Chevrolet C8 Corvette ZR1 offers levels of performance that were once unthinkable for an American supercar, putting much more expensive exotics from Europe on notice.
In an effort to keep early allocations from becoming quick-profit flips, GM said it will void the warranty of any ZR1 resold within 12 months of its original purchase. To the surprise of no one, that policy hasn’t stopped one buyer from shelling out a hefty premium for a car showing just five miles on the odometer, essentially delivery mileage.

This particular 2026 Corvette ZR1 is just about as impressive as they get. On top of the base MSRP of $191,400, It includes the comprehensive $27,350 ZTK Performance Track Package, which adds a suite of upgrades including carbon ceramic brakes, performance suspension, and extreme aerodynamic add-ons like the towering rear wing, front splitter, and canards.
Although the Jet Black paint of this ‘Vette is one of the tamer color choices on offer, the original owner has added some pops of color with Edge Blue racing stripes and matching 20- and 21-inch forged wheels clad in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires developed specifically for the ZR1.
The Spec Sheet
A look inside the cabin reveals the ZR1 has been equipped with the GT2 bucket seats trimmed in Jet Black Nappa leather with Santorini Blue stitching and seatbelts. There’s also plenty of Alcantara trim throughout and a 14-speaker Bose audio system.

The Price Of Desire
This example was listed for sale on Bring a Trailer with an original sticker price of $220,745. Despite its warranty now being void, it managed to fetch a breathtaking $290,000, netting the original buyer almost $70,000 in profit.
