A WOMAN has died after a crash near a railway line in Malvern.
Emergency services were called to Stocks Lane on at around 11.40am on Thursday morning (January 8), where a woman in her 80s had been seriously injured.
She was taken to hospital and has since died.
A man in his 50s, who was a passenger in the other car, suffered serious injuries, which are believed to be life-changing, while the driver sustained minor injuries.
Police attended the scene, with passers-by reporting seeing the road closed.

Officers arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, who has been released on bail.
West Mercia Police has now urged witnesses to come forward.
They are keen to hear from anyone who saw the vehicles involved in the crash, which were a Volkswagen ID4 travelling towards Newland or a Mercedes A160 travelling towards Leigh Sinton.
“Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who has died and the man who is seriously injured,” Detective Sergeant Rose Hughes said.
