The woman was pronounced dead at the scene on Blackhalve Lane
A woman in her 20s has died in a car crash in south Staffordshire.
Police said emergency services were called to Blackhalve Lane in Essington just before 01:00 BST on Sunday following a crash involving two Seat Ibizas, one white and one grey.
The driver of the white car was pronounced dead at the scene, while several other people from both vehicles were taken to hospital, according to police.
Officers are urging anyone who was in the area at the time or who has relevant doorbell, dash cam or CCTV footage, to come forward.
