FAIRFAX, Va. (7News) — A car crash left a woman dead in Virginia and roads closed on Saturday, police said.
Officers shut down roads around the crash at Fairfax County Parkway and Hutsman Boulevard in Springfield. The driver was pronounced dead on scene, according to the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD).

The Southbound Fairfax County Parkway is closed as detectives investigate, according to FCPD.
