SAN ANTONIO – If you were driving on Loop 410 on the North Side Friday afternoon, you may have been stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic. That's thanks to a wild scene that unfolded on the side of the highway where witnesses say a woman was jumping on cars.
Police were called out to Loop 410 near Broadway at about 1 p.m. A woman was taken into custody after witnesses say she was hanging on to the side mirror of a truck. She eventually started jumping onto the top of other cars.
“I saw this girl hanging on to a rearview mirror of a truck, and she got off that truck, and then she jumped on top of my hood, the hood of my car, and then she started taking off her clothes. And as soon as she did that, then she jumped on top of the roof of my car, and she tried to actually break my sunroof,” explained Nataly, a witness to what happened.
Witnesses say the woman jumped onto multiple cars in traffic and tried to do damage.
Police were able to restrain her and transport her for mental evaluation.
No word if she is facing any charges.
