A woman suffered serious injuries after she was hit by a car in Coventry.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Beechwood Avenue and Kenilworth Road before 15:30 GMT on Monday.
The woman, in her 20s, was taken to hospital with a head injury, where she remains in a serious condition.
West Midlands Police said the driver of the car remained at the scene and are appealing for witnesses as part of their investigation.
