The world’s first Bugatti Mistral production car is here.
And it has gotten a stunning new look with a satin PPF.
The Mistral itself is extremely important in the modern Bugatti lineage.
But now it’s had an incredible makeover, it’ll stand out even more.

Cast your mind back to 2022, and you might remember a very special supercar story.
If you remember Pebble Beach from that year, you probably know what we’re talking about.
Because it was at that event that Bugatti threw the covers off something extremely special.
That special reveal was, of course, a car called the Mistral.
That particular Mistral was also significant for another reason.
It was chassis no. 001 – the first one ever made.
Naturally, the Bugatti Mistral made headline news across the globe at the time.
And chassis no. 001 Mistral was recently in the news once again.
It has been with the guys at Topaz Detailing for a very cool reason.
The supercar has recently been fitted with a satin PPF (Paint Protection Film).
You might remember that it was originally finished in Bugatti’s Gloss Black paint finish.
But it has now been completely re-imagined and transformed.
The team at Topaz Detailing didn’t just add a PPF, they added one with a satin finish.
It gives the hypercar an appearance more akin to a stealth bomber on wheels.
And the changes continue in the interior.
The launch spec of the Mistral comes with bright-yellow brake calipers.
Those brake calipers are complemented by a striking, two-tone interior, finished in a bright-yellow and dark brown design.
As mentioned, the Bugatti Mistral itself is an extremely significant car.
For one thing, it’s the only open-top version of the Chiron.
But it’s also significant because of the heart that powers it.
This is the last of the marque’s supercars to use the legendary W16 engine.
From now on, all Bugatti offerings are set to come with hybrid powertrains.
In a way, the Bugatti Mistral represents the intersection between the present and the future.
But it will likely still hold a piece of history for quite some time to come.
That’s because it is still the world’s fastest production convertible.
Its top speed of 282mph is unlikely to be matched by another open-top car for quite some time.
