The woman died at the scene of the crash in Kent, police say
One woman has died and three other people have been injured in a two-car crash in Kent.
Kent Police said a grey Kia travelling northbound on the A249 in Sheppey collided with a BMW at about 23:20 GMT on Friday.
The woman, in her 30s, died at the scene and her next of kin has been informed.
A man and a woman were taken to a London hospital, where they remain in a serious condition, the force said. Another man was taken to a local hospital.
The road was closed overnight while emergency services attended, but it was reopened at about 08:00.
Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene.
Kent Police is asking anyone who witnessed what happened or has relevant footage to come forward.
